A freak accident causes Ren and Stimpy to die. Stimpy later gets sent to heaven, but he is surprised to know that Ren got sent to hell instead of heaven, so Stimpy travels to hell to attempt to help Ren get allowed into heaven.
Plot[]
Ren comes home from work to find Stimpy setting up a party for his "half birthday". The toxifying gas filling the room due to the oven causes Ren to pass out. Stimpy then attempts to light Ren's birthday candles using a match, causing a lethal explosion. Stimpy finds himself in Heaven, where he is adorned with a halo, tunic, and angel wings. He meets God, who welcomes him. Meanwhile, Ren drops down into Hell and is happy that Stimpy is not there. Back in Heaven, Stimpy learns from God that he may never see Ren ever again. Stimpy's tears guilt-trip God into allowing him to save Ren. Ren may only go to Heaven after he does one unselfish act. If not, Stimpy will be sentenced to eternal damnation as well. Meanwhile in Hell, Ren and other sinners are sent to a torture pit, where prisoners are tortured through whips and being forced to listen to play scripts. Ren shows a demon what real torture is like by shoving lint in his face and laughing maniacally. This is enough to cause devil horns to sprout on top of his head. Satan himself summons him. Ren trembles in front of Satan, expecting to be punished. However, to his surprise, the King of Hell praises him and makes him second-in-command. Stimpy falls on top of Ren just after. Ren is less than happy to see him. Ren tells Stimpy he doesn't want to be rescued and tells him not to screw his chance with Satan. Ren soon becomes a director of torture, hitting prisoners with a whip. Stimpy attempts to stop him, but gets tied to the whip and thrown off a cliff by the Chihuahua. Later, Ren and Satan are having their feet kissed. Satan tells his second-in-command that he's retiring and that he wants him to take his place. Ren is excited until Satan tells him if he wants the position, he'll have to torture Stimpy. Stimpy is tied upside down to a pole. Ren is given a device to electrically shock the angel. Ren performs his unselfish act by instead shocking another demon. Stimpy successfully escapes with Ren in tow. God congratulates Stimpy before letting him know he can go back to Earth due to a reading error. Back on Earth, Stimpy prepares another birthday party for Ren, which again kills them. The episode ends with Ren's decapitated head screaming,"You eediot!"
