BET Jams is a television network owned by Paramount Media Networks under BET. In 2002, BET Jams replaced MTVX, a music channel that composed of rock, punk, and heavy metal. BET Jams was known as MTV Jams until October 2015 in which it was renamed. The channel features hip-hop and urban pop alongside its music videos. The network also features "jams of the week" every Sunday.
