CBS Corporation

CBS Corporation was one of the successors to the original Viacom. It started operations in early 2006, and took over control of UPN for the last couple of months of its existence before The CW served as the successor. The CBS Corporation name was previously used in 1997 as the new name of Westinghouse (which CBS acquired and changed the name of Group W Productions to Eyemark Entertainment (a reference to the CBS logo)). Its successor is ViacomCBS, which was formed on December 4, 2019
