CBS Productions is a television production company that launched in 1984 under the name of CBS Entertainment Productions, which was used until 1995, when it transitioned to its current name. Its closure happened three times. In 2004, the main iteration ended operations, however, in 2008, the brand was reinstated for usage on some programming (which ended in 2012). A full reinstatement happened in 2015 and ended in 2016. In 2017, the company was brought back again for special programming.
