Biography[]
Claw was once a noble pup knight in Barkingburg. Unfortunately, he grew mad with power and decided that riding a dragon would make him the greatest knight of Barkingburg. But there was a rule in Barkingburg which is to never disturb a dragon, a rule that Claw doesn't like. Because he broke that rule, the Princess of Barkingburg de-knighted Claw for his selfishness. Disgruntled over being de-knighted and wishing that the rule about dragons would be abolished, Claw is becoming determined to get his knighthood back.
Upon hearing that Ryder and the PAW Patrol has been knighted by the princess for their rescuing skills, Claw becomes angry as he wants to be the only knight in Barkingburg all the time. Hearing about the enchanted dragon tooth that has the power to control dragons, Claw distracts Marshall who was guarding the tooth by making him clumsy so he can steal the tooth. He manages to steal the tooth and evades capture from the PAW Patrol and heads to a cave to find Sparks, the dragon he's been trying to ride on multiple times and failed. By using the dragon's tooth, he gains control of Sparks and proceeds to bring terror on Barkingburg.
Claw's rampage prompted Ryder and the PAW Patrol to be Rescue Knights to stop him. But Claw is unwilling to yield and sent Sparks to fly to the Barkingburg Castle to attack it. The Rescue Knights refuses to let Claw do as he pleases so they used their pup packs to stop Claw's attempts, but Claw threatens the Rescue Knights to surrender by holding the Earl hostage. But Chase fires the bolas to distract Sparks causing Claw to drop the Earl allowing Zuma to catch the latter.
Rocky tries to reel in Sparks and Claw by using a magnet to attract the dragon's tooth, but the tooth was out of reach so Ryder decided the best option for the Rescue Knights to retreat into the castle to come up with a new plan, but Marshall refuses as he becomes determined to make up for his failure to guard the tooth, much to Ryder's concern. Claw orders Sparky to melt the drawbridge, but Marshall extinguishes the flames. Claw attempts to flee with the tooth, but Marshall jumped onto Sparks and ignoring Ryder's orders to jump off, he gets his paws on the tooth and makes Sparks fly upside-down causing the necklace to detach from Claw allowing Marshall to hold onto it. Chase used the net to catch Marshall causing him to inadvertently break the tooth which is good because it has lost the power to control dragons. Claw was bucked off of Sparks and his faulty pup-pack makes him unable to grip onto Sparks' tail causing him to fall on the Duke of Flappington's jet where he decides to align with the duke to aid him to be king of Barkingburg so he'll regain his knighthood.
