"Crashed Course" is the twenty-third episode of the sixth season, and the two-hundred-sixty-ninth episode of The Loud House.

Plot[]

The Loud siblings intervene when they think Lori is failing out of Fairway U.

Synopsis[]

In the Loud House, Lincoln is carefully examining a package he received. Lisa arrives and asks her brother what he's doing; Lincoln explains that Ronnie Anne sent him a package and is afraid that it's one of her prank packages like the ones she sent in the past. Lisa offers her help by scanning it with her x-ray machine in her room. After scanning the package, Lincoln and Lisa learn that it's filled with expired ketchup. Suddenly, they discover an envelope stuck to the bottom of the box. The envelope contains Lori's report card, and upon seeing her scores like 68, 67 and 65, they come to the conclusion that she is failing her classes. Later, the two hold a sibling meeting where they explain their findings, where Leni adds in that Lori's recent social media posts are showing her partying and slacking off instead of studying. Because of this, the siblings proclaim that they need to do everything in their power to get rid of any and all distractions from Lori so that her grades will improve.

Three hours later, the siblings arrive to Fairway and spot Lori in the distance. Throughout the visit, the siblings discover that Lori isn't doing any studying as they feared, as she's too busy looking through her social media posts and hanging out with her friends instead. The siblings manage to get rid of these distractions by wearing multiple disguises so they can divert her attention long enough to get rid of said distractions, like deactivating her devices and discouraging her from visiting her friends when informed of a possum infestation. As a result, Lori tells her roommate, Marisa, that she might as well study some more since she has nothing else to do. This makes the siblings proclaim that they succeeded in their mission.

The next day at the Loud House, Leni arrives with an envelope containing Lori's next report card. Peeking into the envelope, the siblings are shocked to discover her most recent score is 62, much lower than the last three scores. Thinking she's gotten worse, coupled with the fact that she has a big test today, Lincoln proclaims that he has another idea: half of them would disguise themselves as Lori to take the test for her, while the others keep Lori away.

Arriving back to Fairway, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lucy, Lola and Lily proceed to take Lori to a power lunch, while Lincoln, Lynn, Lana and Lisa disguise themselves as Lori so they can take the test for her. However, to Lisa's surprise, she discovers that the test she and the other students are taking is actually a game of golf. This makes Lisa realize in horror that the reason why Lori's scores were so low was because they were golf scores, and in golf, the main goal is to get the lowest score as possible (meaning that Lori was really crushing her classes, not failing them). Realizing their mistake, Lincoln proceeds to text the others to bring back Lori while Lynn fills in for Lori until the others come back. Back at Leni's group, they are informed about the mix-up and quickly attempt to get back to campus, however, Leni poked a hole in their tire because she felt bad about lying that they blew one out, so they use a golf cart instead. After the siblings (unsuccessfully) try to pass themselves off as Lori and after giving Niblick trouble while distracting him, Lori finally arrives, but to her disappointment, Niblick, bothered by everything that just happened to him, tells Lori that she failed the test. At that moment, Lori discovers that all of her siblings are present and asks what they're doing here. Caught red-handed, the siblings confess that they looked at her report card and thought that because her scores were low, she was failing, so they attempted to pass themselves off as her so they can do the test for her. Naturally, Lori is furious that her siblings interfered with her school life, but she eases herself, acknowledging that they were only looking out for her. When Lori questions how she could pass her test now, the siblings get an idea.

Sometime later, Niblick proceeds to give Lori a passing grade for her test (after being dragged to it against his will by Lana and an alligator she named Anthony). After this announcement, the siblings leave Fairway with the promise that they will never butt into Lori's school life again.

Moral/Lesson[]

  • Don't believe everything you hear, it might not be as true as you think.
  • Don't ruin someone's business.

Trivia[]

  • This is the third episode in Season 6 to use the standard title card music, the first two being "Eye Can't" and "Sofa, So Good".
  • This, "Present Danger"/"Stressed for the Part" and "A Stella Performance" are the only Season 6 episodes thus far to not air on a Friday.
  • This episode reveals that Ronnie Anne has sent pranks in packages to Lincoln numerous times in the past. Some of the pranks she sent include:
    • Soiled diapers for his birthday.
    • Eggs for Christmas.
    • Sergio, along with a camera, so she could snap a picture of him getting attacked by the parrot.
  • Lincoln's box of disguises, which previously appeared in "Cover Girls" and "Season's Cheatings", reappears in this episode. Apparently, he has disguises for Cheryl, Principal Ramirez and their mee-maw.
  • This episode is similar to "Cheater by the Dozen", as Lincoln, Clyde, and other sisters think Bobby is cheating on Lori upon seeing him interact with various different women and so they follow him around town, but in the end they feel bad for it and realizing that Bobby wasn't cheating on Lori after they nearly ruining their date.
    • The way Lori doesn't get too angry at her siblings for making her flunk her latest test is similar to how she doesn't get too angry at them for nearly ruining her date with Bobby in "Cheater by the Dozen", as she admits that in both situations, they were only looking out for her.
