"Fright Bite" is the forty-second episode (forty-third in production order) of the fifth season, and the two-hundred-forty-first episode of The Loud House.
Plot[]
When a vampire moves into Royal Woods, Lucy must convince him to turn the Mortician's Club into vampires.
Synopsis[]
At the Royal Woods Cemetery, Lucy and the Mortician's Club are watching the season finale of The Vampires of Melancholia, which has Edwin telling Tristan that they need to make more people vampires, or else their kind is extinct. The episode ends, and the club expresses dismay that they have to wait a while for the new season to start. Suddenly, the club realizes that someone has moved into the house nearby, which was left abandoned because of urban legends. They decide to check out who's moving in, and while they hide behind the man's garbage, they notice certain detail: the man moved in at nighttime, has thrown away all the mirrors, has a shipment of extra bloody steaks arriving, and an empty bottle of coffin polish. Lucy comes to the conclusion that the man who moved in is a vampire, and states that they must make him turn them all into vampires so they can have eternal lives.
The next day, Lucy explains to her fellow club members that their plan is to casually bump into the man and expect to give him the vampire treatment when he sees them in full goth mode. Suddenly, they notice the man casually walking out in broad daylight, and proceed to follow him to the Royal Woods Mall, where they spot him asking certain people to sign a document. During their investigation, they believe that he's recruiting people so they can become vampires, and attempt to get his attention so they can sign it, but the man ignores them. When Boris reveals that he has to head home for his curfew, Lucy tells her club members to meet up at the house tomorrow. The next day, the club is puzzled by the large numbers of cars present, and just when they approach the house, they witness the people the man approached at the mall yesterday looking like vampires. When they spot Mrs. Bernardo looking and behaving exactly like a vampire, Lucy concludes that the reason why the man is ignoring them is because he might believe that they're already vampires because of their gothic nature, and decides that she and the others need to go "full normie".
Later, the Mortician's Club are now wearing bright, every day clothes, and attempt to get the man's attention at the park like giving him lemonade and having a barbecue. However, no matter what the club does, the man simply distances himself from them. Bothered about their string of failure, the club is about to give up, but Lucy, still determined as ever, states that if they can get him to turn them into vampires, they'll simply force him to, saying that they deserve to be vampires.
Later that day, the club, now wearing their usual clothes, decide to barge into the house and tackle the man, begging him to turn them into vampires. Suddenly, the lights come on, and a film director reveals tells them that they're tackling her casting director. The casting director reveals that they're filming new episodes of The Vampires of Melancholia here, and Mrs. Bernardo arrives, telling the club that she has been casted as a background vampire, which explains why the casting director was asking people at the mall to sign a document. When the casting director tells the club to leave so they can continue filming, the director stops them from leaving, saying that she's impressed by their appearances and decides that they would be perfect for playing vampires instead of random people from the mall. The club eagerly accept this offer, especially since it means they get to star alongside Edwin's actor Edward Moore.
As the film crew films the season premiere episode, the Mortician's Club, acting like vampires, manage to play their roles flawlessly.

- The episode's plot is similar to:
- "ARGGH! You for Real?", as in both cases, the main characters think undead creatures are real. They would discover that this is fictional; in additon, both shows have the same director.
- "The Waiting Game", as in both cases, the main characters try to impress a stranger for benefits, only to be ignored by said stranger.
- "Family Bonding", as in both cases, the main characters suspect a stranger to be extraordinary due to their suspicious appearance. However, the difference between the two episodes is that is in "Family Bonding" their suspicions were proved correct, and in "Fright Bite", they were proved wrong.
- "Kings of the Con", as in both cases the main characters try to impress an annoyed person to get rewarded only to be ignored. However, there is a difference; in the end, the main characters got rewarded instead of punished.
- Lincoln appears on the title card as the bottom left button in the coffin.
