The Game Show Network (sometimes shortened to GSN, especially between 2004-2018) is a television network that launched in December 1994. The network features programming from its namesake show genre. The network is currently owned by Sony through its television networks subsidiary. The network launched Game Show Central in 2020, with availability incorporated into the Paramount-owned streaming service, Pluto TV (alongside its fellow competitor, Buzzr, which launched in 2015 under the ownership of Fremantle, another media company).
The network is also likely the reason that Nickelodeon launched the long discontinued television network, Nick Games and Sports For Kids in 1998 (nearly 4 years after its launch in 1994).
