The Great Lakes City Rats are the secondary antagonistic faction of The Casagrandes. They are the group of rats who terrorizing people and cause chaos across the city.

The Great Lakes City rats are mean and scary sentient animals who hatred of humans and wants to terrorize them by causing chaos across the city and eat anything they love, but they turn out to simply be a large group of rats. They enjoys eating food and terrorize anyone who trespassing the tunnel. They make their first appearance in The Loud House episode "The Spies Who Loved Me" where the rats attack the Casagrandes while Ronnie Anne distracts them with her pretzel to save her family.
The rats later appears in the spin-off series, like in "Trend Game" who chases Ronnie Anne and her friends by throwing them out of the tunnel while a rat eat Sameer's shoe. They carries Bobby and Par on their inflatable raft in "Never Friending Story" and also attack Carl in "Fool's Gold" when the latter gets a treasure hunt clue.

The Great Lakes City rats steal Marcus' van and drive a few feet to escape. The rats then escapes from the van to merge into a giant rat beast and fights between the Great Lakes City Rats and Neighborhood Cats.
They jumps up and takes the shape of a mallet the cats see it and quickly dissipate. The neighborhood cats rejoin high above the Great Lakes City rats and deliver a power punch, defeating the giant rat. Adelaide comes up with an idea on how to solve the city's cat and rat problem.

They are mean, scary, vicious and mysterious group of sentient rats who despises the humans and wants to terrorize them by causing chaos across the city. They also terrorize and attack anyone who ever trespasses the tunnel.
