Monster High is an American multimedia-supported fashion doll franchise created by toy designer Garrett Sander and launched by Mattel in 2010. Aimed at children aged 7 to 14, the franchise features characters inspired by monster movies, sci-fi horror, thriller fiction, folklore, myths and popular culture, centering around the adventures of the teenage children of monsters and other mythical creatures attending a high school of the same name.
Both the film Monster High: The Movie and the animated TV series Monster High had been produced by Mattel Television under Paramount Global's band wagon services by Nickelodeon themselves.

On February 23, 2021, Mattel, through its television division, announced an animated TV series and a live-action musical film based on the franchise.

On October 25, 2022, a sequel titled Monster High: The Movie 2 was announced. Production will begin in January 2023 for a premiere that same year on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.

On October 6, 2022, an American CGI-animated series based on Mattel's fashion doll franchise of the same name was on the Nickelodeon for Halloween debut of the series. the showrunner of the tv series is Shea Fontana, who previously developed another Mattel reboot (Polly Pocket).
