Network 10 is an Australian free-to-air television network owned by American media conglomerate Paramount.
The network was launched in 1964 as the Independent Television System and was later renamed The 0/10 Network from 1970 until 1980, it was renamed again to Network 10 from 1980 until 1983, Network TEN from 1983 to 1989, 10 TV Australia from 1989 to 1991, then back to Network TEN from 1991 to 2018 and finally back to Network 10 in 2018. The network fell into administration on June 14 2017 and it was announced that CBS Corporation (Ten’s largest creditor) would purchase the company on November 16 of the same year. As a result of the purchase, the CBS All Access streaming service received a localized variation 10 All Access (later rebranded as Paramount+.)
As a television network, its primary competitors are the Nine Network, the Seven Network, the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation ) and SBS.
The network is best known for using a blue and yellow circle design, which was used from 1991 until 2013 (without the yellow outline) and 2018 (without the full spelling of the number). Its current branding sometimes replaces the "0" cutout with various shapes for various events and holidays, with an example being Valentines and sometimes uses different backgrounds. For its on screen identifications, they mostly use different backgrounds with their logo placed over top.
