Nicktoons Unite! is a series of platform video games created by THQ Inc. and owned by The Nickelodeon Group. Blue Tongue Entertainment mainly for the home consoles, but was replaced by Incinerator Studios for the fourth game. Climiax Group worked on the first game for the Game Boy Advance, but was replaced by Natsume in the other sequels. It is published by THQ.
The series is a crossover of several popular and less popular Nicktoons shows. The four main shows represented are SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom, The Fairly OddParents! and The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius. The game is the spiritual successor of the game, Nicktoons: Freeze Frame Frenzy.
The games always focus on the main heroes of the shows, except for the fourth and fifth game where the villains also are playable. The heroes have to defeat the thing that is threatening all of their dimensions. In most cases members of the Evil Syndicate plays a major antagonist role.

Nicktoons Unite![]

It is a very first installment of the series. In the game, the player can control four Nicktoons characters (SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, Timmy Turner, and Danny Phantom) as they work together to stop an evil plan concocted by villains from each character's series. The game was released to generally have some mixed reviews.
Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island[]

It is a second installment of the series and the sequel to the "Nicktoons Unite!". It took place right after the events of "Nicktoons Unite!", In an island world called Volcano Island, a trio of crabs, led by the Wise Old Crab and his two assistants are gathering around a ritual at Summoner's Rock to summon 'The Nine' heroes to defeat their ancient enemy, the Mawgu. Like it's prequel, The game was given into mixed reviews during gameplay.
Nicktoons: Attack of the Toybots[]

It is a third installment of the series and the sequel to the "Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island". It took place right after the events of "Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island", As the game features Professor Calamitous on a reality show called the Biggest Genius. Calamitous states that by feeding fairies Krabby Patties, they can emit a magical gas that, combined with the ghost energy, can be used as a form of fuel for his army of "Toybots". Now it's up SpongeBob and his friends to save the factory with the help of a friendly robot named Chad-Bot. This is the only videogame where features a dozen playable characters or cameo characters from various Nicktoons properties of the time made appearances in the game. The music of the game itself was composed by Mick Gordon (The musician of Destroy All Humans! 2). like it's prequel games, Globs of Doom received mixed reviews from critics.
Nicktoons: Globs of Doom[]

It is the last and final videogame of the series and this is the only Nicktoons Unite! game to not feature characters from The Fairly OddParents. Globulous is threatening to control the nickelodeon universes by splattering orange-colored goo all over their universes, SpongeBob, Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Tak, and Zim don't exactly trust their own respective arch-enemies of their own universes but it's the only option and manage to defeat the Vessel of Portentia on the moon, and it explodes in space, leaving the villains floating around. Todd Masten composed the final game's music (Also during the development, Masten worked to give each environment and boss encounter a unique feel to help build suspense and tension.). Unlike it's prequel games, Globs of Doom received mixed reviews from critics.

A comic series based on the franchise was done by a Puerto Rican Deviantartist Ale Montes. He decided to host a Q&A for the comics he made for the franchise itself, where the fans of the series can answer any questions based on the series' segments.
Trivia[]
- It is made very clear in the game that all the different shows exist in different dimensions. This is also further stated by the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour specials.
- The Evil Syndicate only appears in the first and fourth game. However every time it is changed. The Syndicate members to appear the most in the game series are Professor Calamitous and Plankton (Plankton made a cameo in the Attack of the ToyBots intro, but is squashed by The Mawgu).
