Paramount Vantage

Paramount Vantage was a film production company that handled mainly independently produced projects. Launched in 1998 under the name Paramount Classics. Paramount Vantage was launched in 2006 with a two-year overlap between the releases of Vantage and Classics, before Classics closed operations in 2008, Vantage continued into the 2010s, marking its end in 2013 after it closed operations of film production. During its existence, Vantage mainly competed with and had a similar purpose to that of Fox Searchlight Pictures.
