The Casagrandes is an American animated comedy television comedy series originally for Nickelodeon. A spin-off of The Loud House, it centers on the titular Casagrande family, whose amount is similar to that of the Louds. The series premiered on October 14, 2019. The series features the voices of Izabella Alvarez, Carlos PenaVega, Eugenio Derbez, Ken Jeong, Melissa Joan Hart, Leah Mei Gold, and Lexi Sexton.
The show has been renewed for a second season on February 19, 2020. It premiered on October 9, 2020. It will consist of 20 episodes.
The show has been also renewed by Nickelodeon for a third season on September 24, 2020. It will consist of 20 episodes.
Premise[]
Having to moved to Great Lakes City back in The Loud House episode "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos," Ronnie Anne Santiago, her older brother Bobby, and their mother Maria move in with their extended family called the Casagrandes, consisting of the grandparents Hector and Rosa, aunt and uncle Frida and Carlos, their cousins Carlota, C.J., Carl, and Carlitos, and their pets Lalo and Sergio. Ronnie Anne meets new friends like Sid Chang, expresses more about her relatives, and explores the endless possibilities in Great Lakes City. Bobby helps Hector run the mercado (another word for bodega) as he discovers similarities with the city's quirky neighbors.
Plot[]
The series features Ronnie Anne Santiago (Lincoln Loud's second best friend) and her brother Bobby, (love interest of Lori Loud), who move away from Royal Woods to be with their extended Casagrande family, consisting of C.J., Grandma Rosa, Frida, Grandpa Hector, Carlitos, Carlota, Carlos, Sergio, Maria, Lalo, and Carl (all made their debut in "The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos" and were also prominent in "The Loudest Thanksgiving"), to have their better lives. Ronnie Anne will meet new friends, express more about her relatives and explore the endless possibilities in the city; Bobby will help Grandpa Hector run the corner store as he discovers familiarities with the city's quirky neighbors.

- Ronalda "Ronnie" Anne Santiago (voiced by Izabella Alvarez) – The main protagonist of the series. At age 11, Ronnie Anne Santiago is Bobby's younger sister and the cousin, niece, and granddaughter of the Casagrandes. Ronnie Anne is a tomboy who is having her better life in the city, and doesn't mess around with "girly stuff". Ronnie Anne is also Lincoln Loud's old best friend, who Ronnie Anne contacts him via her laptop.
- Roberto Alejandro Martinez-Millan Luis "Bobby" Santiago Jr. (voiced by Carlos PenaVega) – At age 17, Bobby Santiago is Ronnie Anne's older brother and the cousin, nephew, and grandson of the Casagrandes. Bobby is a jack of all trades, having had to juggle multiple jobs at the same time. Bobby is shown to be calm and compassionate, but sometimes a little too absentminded. He is also Lori Loud's boyfriend.
- Maria Casagrande-Santiago (voiced by Sumalee Montano) – Maria is the mother of Bobby and Ronnie Anne who works as a nurse.
- Arturo Santiago (voiced by Eugenio Derbez) - Bobby and Ronnie Anne's father who separated from Maria and is in Peru as part of his Physicians With Mission assignment.

- Rosa Casagrande (voiced by Sonia Manzano) – Rosa is a caring grandmother and mother who you can always depend on for making a meal, but never a snack. She is the building manager for the apartment they live in.
- Hector Casagrande (voiced by Ruben Garfias) – Hector is the owner of the downstairs bodega (also called a mercado) and the household gossiper. He is also a talented musician.
- Carlos Casagrande (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) – Carlos is the father of the Casagrande siblings, the son of Rosa and Hector, the husband of Frida Puga, and the brother of Maria Santiago. He's a college professor who loves reading books and sharing the knowledge he gathered from them.
- Frida-Puga Casagrande (voiced by Roxana Ortega) – Frida Puga is the mother of the Casagrande siblings, the wife of Carlos, the daughter-in-law of Rosa and the sister-in-law of Maria Santiago. She is an avid photographer.
- Carlota Casagrande (voiced by Alexa PenaVega) – At age 17, Carlota Casagrande is the oldest child and only daughter of Frida Puga and Carlos and a fashion loving girl. She can be seen shouting at Carlitos for using her cosmetics.
- Carlos Jr. "C.J." Casagrande (voiced by Jared Kozak) – At age 13, CJ Casagrande is the oldest son of the Casagrandes. CJ also has Down Syndrome. He is a lover of playing pirate and an incredibly sweet boy.
- Carlino "Carl" Casagrande (voiced by Alex Cazares) – At age 6, Carlino Casagrande is the smooth talking son of Frida Puga and Carlos. Like Clyde McBride, he is attracted to Lori.
- Carlitos Casagrande (voiced by Roxana Ortega) – Carlitos Casagrande is the youngest child of Frida Puga and Carlos. Carlitos can be seen imitating various family members.
Pets[]
- Lalo (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker)– The family's pet English Mastiff who is named after Lalo Alcaraz, creator of La Cucaracha. He is larger than most dogs as he was big enough to carry Ronnie Anne. Despite being a dog, Lalo is afraid of the local street cat clowder.
- Sergio (voiced by Sergio Aragones) – The family's pet parrot who is named after Sergio Aragonés, creator of Groo the Wanderer and contributor to Mad magazine, who tends to tease the family members.
- Bueno (voiced by Ashley Jordan) - The family's pet deer with a huge belly who is named after a word bueno, the word which means "fine." She has ability to talk.

A family that moves into Apartment 3A above the Casagrandes' apartment.
- Sid Chang (voiced by Leah Mei Gold) - Stanley and Becca's 12-year-old daughter, older sister of Adelaide Chang, and Ronnie Anne's new best friend.
- Stanley Chang (voiced by Ken Jeong) - Becca's husband and Sid and Adelaide's father. He is a friendly subway conductor.
- Becca Chang (voiced by Melissa Joan Hart) - Stanley's wife and Sid and Adelaide's mother. She is a zoologist.
- Adelaide Chang (voiced by Lexi Sexton) - Stanley and Becca's 6-year-old daughter and Sid's younger sister. She loves to play pretending.
- Don Chang-Casagrande (voiced by Tara Strong) - A human/bunny boy with a huge belly and long floppy ears. He is half pet and Adelaide's friend while his Tum rumbles for food and drinks.

Production[]
On March 6, 2018, it was announced that Nickelodeon was developing a spinoff of The Loud House under the working title of Los Casagrandes. On July 2, 2018, it was announced that Nickelodeon officially green-lit the comedy series with a 20-episode order. On February 14, 2019, it was announced that The Casagrandes, formerly Los Casagrandes, would premiere in October 2019. On May 7, 2019, it was announced that Eugenio Derbez, Ken Jeong, Melissa Joan Hart, Leah Mei Gold, and Lexi Sexton joined the voice cast. Mike Rubiner serves as executive producer, while Karen Malach serves as producer. On September 4, 2019, it was announced that the series would premiere on October 14, 2019. The series is produced by Nickelodeon.
On February 19, 2020, it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season of 20 episodes, which premiered on October 9, 2020.
On September 24, 2020, it was also announced that the series was renewed for a third season of 20 episodes, which will premiere in 2021.
On June 1, 2022, it was also announced that the series was renewed for a fourth season of 20 episodes, which will premiere in 2023.
