The Fresh Beat Band is Nickelodeon's preschool musical sitcom franchise that educates preschoolers about music and pro-social behavior. The Fresh Beats are four friends -- Marina, Kiki, Twist and Shout works together to solve the problems while being a singing band and foreshadows a problem that the band will solve themselves. The franchise originally debuted as a 2008 Nickelodeon Unreleased TV pilot called The JumpArounds until the name change by Viacom in 2009 to the franchises' conclusion with it's animated spinoff Fresh Beat Band of Spies in 2016.

All episodes follow the same basic structure:
- Each episode begins with a song that foreshadows a problem that the band will solve.
- The band works together to solve the problem.
- When the problem is solved they perform a song with the problem and solution incorporated into the lyrics.
- Each episode concludes with a version of The Fresh Beat Band's closing song, "Great Day".
- The main characters dance to choreography by Mandy Moore;[1] Sean Cheesman; Chuck Maldonado; Scotty Nguyen; Dreya Weber; Mary Ann Kellogg; Nakul Mahajan; Mihran Kirakosian; Susan Austin, and Fred Tallaksen.
Also, they appeared in the Nickelodeon Mega Music Fest.

The Fresh Beat Band, now a group of spies, solve wacky mysteries in their town using their individual talents and cool gadgets.
Main characters[]
- Kiki - she is the deuteragonist of the franchise. She is also the guitarist, violinist and the vocals of The Fresh Beat Band. In The Fresh Beat Band of Spies, The band's beautiful lead guitarist and lead singer who owns a local hair salon.
- Shout – He is the tritagonist of franchise. He is also the keyboardist and vocals of The Fresh Beat Band. In The Fresh Beat Band of Spies, The athletic keyboardist and leader of the spy team who is also the lifeguard at a nearby swimming pool.
- Marina – She is the tetartagonist of the franchise. She is a drummer, vocals of The Fresh Beat Band. In The Fresh Beat Band of Spies, The brainy drummer of the spy team who is the chemist for a cupcake bakery.
- Twist – He is the protagonist of the franchise. He is also an expert on turntables, beatbox and the vocals of The Fresh Beat Band. In The Fresh Beat Band of Spies, The comedic DJ of the team whose day job is as the manager of the Pet Daycare Center.

The Fresh Beat Band (Unaired pilot)[]

So it turns out The Fresh Beat Band had a lost pilot when they were originally called The Jumparounds right here. During the buildup to the show's debut, the band was initially advertised as The JumpArounds. Commercials promoting the band under that name were in heavy rotation on Nickelodeon prior to the series debut. The change occurred approximately in mid July 2009. The name was revealed on the Nick Jr. website, then made its debut on television.[2]
The Fresh Beat Band of Spies (Unaired pilot)[]

Fresh Beat Band of Spies is an animated preschool series that follows a group of four musical spies ( Kiki, Twist, Shout, and Marina) solving mysteries in their town along with their monkey sidekick Bo, tech savvy expert Reed, and the supervisor Commissioner Goldstar.
Fresh Beat Band of Spies pilot was screened at Nick Animation Studio. Not much is known about it, But screenshots exist. Shout, Twist, Kiki, and Marina all apart in the pilot it is unknown if Commissioner Goldstar, Reed, or Bo Monkey, appeared.

After finishing tv pilot online in 2008 to 2009, Eventually The JumpArounds were renamed to The Fresh Beat Band in summer 2009 because they were threatened with a lawsuit since there was another band called The Jumpitz. Most of the franchise's origins, screenshots and even legacy came from the tv show itself. The series premiered on August 24, 2009 and ended on December 7, 2013. It is aimed at children ages 2 and up.

"The Fresh Beat Band: The Wizard of Song" | The Fresh Beats are getting ready for a concert at the Singing Pizza Café. Marina is bored and does not want to rehearse anymore. She decides to take a break, and go cruising for cupcakes in the Fresh Beats' car. In a spoof of the Wizard of Oz, she gets swept up in a tornado, and arrives in a far away land. She meets the Good Witch (guest star Sarah Chalke), who sends her on a path to see the Wizard of Song. She meets three friends along the way, who look sort of like her old ones; the Scarecrow (Twist), the Tin Woman (Kiki), and the Cowardly Lion (Shout). The Bad Witch (Melody) tries to prevent Marina and her new friends from reaching the Wizard of Song (guest star Jason Mraz) by placing them under a sleep spell using flowers in a field along the road. The Scarecrow (Twist) gets the idea to start a pillow fight to keep them from falling asleep. They eventually make it through the field, and get to see the Wizard of Song. The Wizard agrees to grant their wishes, but first they have to go back to the Bad Witch, and bring him back some of her cupcakes. | January 27, 2012 |
