The Really Loud House: The Princess and the Everlasting Emerald - A Royal Woods Fairytale is the ninth and tenth episode, a 2-part special, of the first season of The Really Loud House.
Plot[]
Lincoln tells Lily a bedtime story. In this fairy tale, Lincoln learns from Charlie that her family is about to move back to Tennessee, so he decides to get her the Everlasting Emerald to remember him by. Unfortunately, it is $57,000.00 at Flip's Food & Fuel. At the same time, Lynn Sr. can't find anyone to join him in Charity Week since Luna has a gig at The Burnt Bean, Luan has an open mic night at Mike's House of Mike, Lynn is partaking in a soccer tournament, Lola has a pageant, and Lily's away with Pop Pop. To rack up the money he needs to obtain the emerald, Lincoln must team up with his family and Flip to raise enough money to save Flip's Food & Fuel when Flip's successful brother Walter Philipini who he lied to about the reason for borrowing money from him. To pull it off, Flip has Rita pose as his wife where he has Lucy be Luan, Lana be Lola, and Lisa and Leni be each other since he cannot get their names right. In addition, Flip has Lynn Sr. locked in the basement during the family's dinner with Walter. The same thing happens to Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lola when they come back from their activities early. Continuing his fairy tale to Lily, Lincoln mentions about Walter staying for one more day and things getting worse in the basement. Due to Charlie leaving earlier, Lincoln sends Clyde to pull every trick to delay the departure. Flip's act is given away when Lynn Sr. comes clean about the truth causing Walter to have Flip's Food & Fuel bulldozed by sundown. After Lincoln tells his family about Charlie moving back to Tennessee, the Loud family puts on a charity event called Loud-A-Palooza where Luna, Luan, Lynn, and Lola escape from the basement, Lori arriving from Fairway University to help out, and Liam getting involved by offering people horse rides with his horse Lightning Bolt. The Loud family must raise enough money to save Flip's Food & Fuel, enable Lincoln to get the Everlasting Emerald, and give it to Charlie before the Uggo family leave Royal Woods.

Behind the scenes[]
- This is the second episode in the franchise to last for one hour, after the Season 5 premiere of the parent series "Schooled!".
- Unlike "Schooled!", however, this episode premiered in parts, as opposed to all at once.
- This is also the first (so far only) time in the live action series to have a one-hour special.
- Part 2 marks the first use of the 15-second intro since "The Guy Who Makes You Fly".
- As of this episode, Charlie now lives in her former home of Tennessee.
- This episode reveals the following:
- The first bill that was ever spent in Flip's Food & Fuel was a $2 bill, and Flip has since framed it, considering it to be lucky.
- Lynn Sr.'s favorite time of the year is Charity Week.
- Lynn Sr.'s favorite large group game is Charades.
- Flip has a brother named Walter who is more successful than him.
- Flip has been writing letters to his brother as a means of obtaining funds for a long time, and he has repeatedly lied that he is the husband of Rita and the father of five children (more specifically, Lincoln, Leni, Luan, Lola, and Lisa).
- Some of the other things he has lied about in his letters include:
- Having family brunches on the weekends.
- Sending Luan to comedy camp and Lisa to science camp.
- Some of the other things he has lied about in his letters include:
- Flip does not know the Loud sisters very well, and as a result, confuses their appearances and personalities.
- Lynn Sr. is ticklish under the armpits.
- Lincoln had braces in the past, and the funds for them were paid by Walter.
- Shrimp makes Lana gassy.
- Flip has previously incorrectly remembered Rita's name as "Conchita".
- Luan once won first prize for a macaroni art contest and second prize for a gingerbread house contest.
- Liam has a horse named Lightning Bolt.
- This marks the fourth time Lana impersonates Lola in the franchise, with the first three times being in the Loud House episodes "Toads and Tiaras", "Tricked!", and "Sister Act".
- This episode has a similar premise to the Loud House episode "Camped!" and the Casagrandes episode "Zoo-mergency!", as all involve a family trying to earn the sufficient funds to save a place that they adore after being informed that it is on the verge of closing down. Like the latter, the funds are obtained via a fundraiser.
- The book that Lincoln reads to Lily has calls back to the events of "The Blemish Dilemish" and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by showcasing the past history of Lincoln and Charlie's relationship.
- True to Luna's statement in "The Blemish Dilemish", Flip's Food & Fuel still sells the butt pimple T-shirts from that episode.[1]
- Lynn mentions the events of the Loud House episode "Net Gains" by mentioning how Flip's Food & Fuel sponsored her basketball team, the Turkey Jerkies.
- Lily leans on the fourth wall when she suggests that Lincoln wear a helmet while riding Lightning Bolt, to which the scene changes to show him wearing a bike helmet.
- Innuendo:
- Flip tells Rita not to "pop out any more [kids] before [Walter] arrives", and Lynn Sr. quickly tells him, "That's not how it works."
- Walter admits to having eaten too much lava cake after his stomach grumbles.
- Irony:
- When Lincoln offers to read Who Needs to Fart? to Lily, Lily immediately does so, and Lincoln says that she has her decision made. However, he chooses to read The Princess and the Everlasting Emerald to her instead.
- The Loud sisters' swapped identities all have irony behind them:
- Leni and Lisa impersonate each other, even though their intelligence levels are polar opposites.
- Also, in real life, Eva Carlton (Leni) is a brunette and Lexi Janicek (Lisa) is a blondie.
- Lana impersonates Lola, even though she is the tomboy of the family and Lola is the most girly girl.
- Lucy impersonates Luan. In real life, the actresses that portray the two of them (Catherine Ashmore Bradley and Aubin Bradley) are actually sisters.
- Leni and Lisa impersonate each other, even though their intelligence levels are polar opposites.
- When Lynn Sr. scolds Luna for talking back to him about his charity act, he accidentally says that he invented charity, but after Lynn smells the dinner that he cooked for Flip and Walter, he says that he made the food, which he honestly means.
- Lynn Sr. is initially against the idea of being locked in the basement during Walter's visit, but while passing himself off as Kristoff Bolschwarzenegger German Shepherd von Tropp, he tells Walter that he lives in the basement.
- Lincoln initially hopes that helping Flip to pass off as a different man would please his brother and allow him to earn the Everlasting Emerald before Charlie leaves, but Walter ends up deciding to stay for another day, and Charlie ends up having to leave a day early.
- Likewise, the total funds made by the fundraiser end up totaling $56,998, just $2 short of the $57,000 needed to prevent Walter from tearing down Flip's Food & Fuel, and meanwhile, Clyde ends up having his identity exposed as a kid posing as a bus inspector.
- Lynn Sr. criticizes Flip's cooking, saying that his family would never eat the things he made, only for Rita to declare that it was one of the most delicious things that she has ever tasted.
- Walter originally intended to leave after the family photo was taken, but Flip interrupted him as he was leaving by suggesting that they play a game of charades.
- Walter threatens to bulldoze the Food & Fuel if Flip does not pay him back by midnight, then corrects it to sundown when Flip protests. Immediately afterwards, Walter continues to say that the deadline is midnight, to which Leni corrects him.
- Todd texts a caller a code to ensure that they are not a robot, despite being a robot himself.
- Flip's very first $2 bill was completely useless to him at first, but after the Loud family's fundraiser managed to raise $56,998, he used the same bill to bring the total up to $57,000 and prevent Walter from tearing down his store.
