The Really Loud House is a 2022 American live-action series for Paramount+, based on the animated series. Like its parent series, it follows a boy named Lincoln, who lives at home with his ten sisters, Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily.

Some cast members from A Loud House Christmas (Wolfgang Schaeffer, Jahzir Bruno, Brian Stepanek, Lexi DiBenedetto, Sophia Woodward, Catherine Ashmore Bradley, Aubin Bradley, Ella Allan, Mia Allan, and Lexi Janicek) will reprise their roles.

The series was first announced on March 24, 2022, alongside the announcement of the animated series being renewed for a seventh season.

0n May 26, 2022, it was announced that Eva Carlton and Annaka Fourneret were cast as Leni and Lynn, respectively, and that Lexi DiBenedetto would reprise her role as Lori. It was also announced that Rita Loud was recast; Muretta Moss was previously slated to reprise the role, but was replaced with Jolie Jenkins for unknown reasons.

Production began in June 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and ended in August 2022.

On June 12, 2022, a spokesperson for August Michael Peterson revealed that Peterson was cast as Lily Loud on Instagram.

On September 4, 2022, the series title was revealed to be The Really Loud House, and that it would release that November.

The series will follow the same premise as its animated counterpart and the events that happened in its live-action film counterpart, following the exploits of an accident-prone boy named Lincoln Loud, who lives with ten sisters - Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana, Lola, Lisa, and Lily.

Plot[]

The new series will follow Lincoln Loud, an 11 year-old boy with 10 sisters, as he navigates everyday life while living with such a large family. Known as the “Man with a Plan,” Lincoln enlists the help of his best friend Clyde McBride to tackle the obstacles and mayhem that they encounter during their daily adventures.

  • This is the second piece of the Loud House media to be in live-action.
  • Brian Stepanek is the only voice actor to reprise their role like he did on "A Loud House Christmas".
  • The television show counts itself as the true sequel to the A Loud House Christmas television film.


Reception[]

Stephanie Snyder from Common Sense Media gave the series three-out-of-five stars, saying that "the live-action show is sure to capture the hearts of young viewers who already loved The Loud House as they see the characters come to life."
