USA Network

USA Network is a television network that was started in 1977 and is currently owned by NBCUniversal and previously by Paramount Pictures (with some of the network ownership happening after the studio was purchased by Viacom (a purchase that included Syfy as well), specifically between 1994-1997). Additionally, it currently broadcasts some series from CBS (NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles).

Trivia

• As a result of its previous ownership by Viacom, it shared the same owner as Nickelodeon and other networks owned by Viacom between 1994-1997, which was also launched in 1977 (original launch) or 1979 (for its current name).

• Paramount Network, a similar TV network owned by Paramount Global which broadcasts some of the same programming as USA Network (particularly with both networks having broadcast rights to some of the WWE installments at some points).
