VH1 is an American television network owned by Viacom Media Networks. Similar to MTV, the original purpose of VH1 was to broadcast music videos that target a slightly older demographic. However, VH1's demographics changed significantly as it ultimately drifted to reality programming but with a focus on music celebrities.
